Contact Lenses Pitfall

For foreigners coming to Ireland. Bring lots of contact lenses with you.

I naively went to the Google-conventioned optician, thinking I would just give get the lenses.
Wrong. I had to have subscription, not older then one year.
I was forced to do the eye exam. Go back to check that lenses were fine, and finally they ordered them for me, and I still have to wait 4 days before I am able to get them.

Luckily I can manage fine without lenses, otherwise I could not work or do anything in the mean time. Good thing also that Google in Dublin has Vision Benefits.

This should be part of an overall info on moving to Ireland BEFORE you get here.
